Quick Subscription Information
The current uninvoiced charges in US$ for CBAT/MPC services are as follows:- Computer Service. $6.00 per month.
- Printed IAU Circulars. $9.00 per month.
- E-mail IAU Circulars and Minor Planet Electronic Circulars. E-mail delivery of these circulars is a free extra when you subscribe to the Computer Service. You must have an Internet-style e-mail address to receive the circulars. Note that we cannot guarantee delivery of e-mail circulars and that missing issues cannot be resent electronically, but must be downloaded from the Computer Service. Please read this policy statement on the distribution of IAUCs.
- Printed Minor Planet Circulars. $14.50 per month ($22.00 for airmail delivery).
We are a non-profit organisation and it is our stated aim to lower these subscription rates substantially if we can increase the number of subscribers substantially.
Payments may be made by wire transfer (contact the e-mail address given below for details), but NOTE that the individual making payment is fully responsible for all bank fees and should include an extra amount in the payment to allow for the amount that the banks subtract from the amount given to CBAT/MPC/ICQ.
FACT: If all the people who had looked at the subscription information between 1995 Feb. and Dec. had taken out a subscription to the Computer Service, the uninvoiced rate for this service would have been halved.
Invoiced rates for the above services are included in the full subscription information-- however, it is recommended that all (potential) subscribers read this document.
